Makayla is home. She's very weak and not by any means over this, but she's much better than she was a week ago.
Thanks for everyones prayers and emails! They were very much appreciated!

Makayla's improving! After many many tests and ruling out many different viruses, they've decided it was ONLY H1N1 and pneumonia. She's been receiving breathing treatments which are now going to be done as needed. She is now down to just one antibiotic and her blood levels were up 1 percent. They are lowing her oxygen to see if she can maintain her levels and she's starting to eat.
When she can maintain her oxygen levels, be off antibiotic for 24 hours without having fever and eat, she can possibly come home.
Thanks to everyone for your prayers and emails! This has been frightening for all of us and it was comforting to know their were and still are many prayers being said for Makayla. She still has along way to heal.
The Dr's. said, no more pre-school for her til possibly March or April. They feel she needs to get stronger after having ,chicken pox, ear infection and then this, swine flu and pneumonia. They've asked her daddy not to go to work right now. He home schools ill children in our district and they don't want him bringing other germs up to her.
So,prayers do work! Thank-you all!

Health

Well, I decided to put my blog back up. Now I can edit my comments and if I get bashed again, at least I can now edit them and choose whether to publish them or now.
Sarah and Alysse are doing very well. Both were healthy enough to get the H1N1 shot. Alysse got the first series, children have to receive the shot in two doses. Sarah's husband,Jim also got his shot, he's also a fireman, so he was given the shot.
Makayla's bug turned out to be an ear infection. After treatment, she too is well.
Now if we can just keep it that way, all nerves will settle.
I have dishes of onions in every room in the house and when we return from a public outing,we gargle with warm salt water and swap the insides of our nostrils as recommended on the Oprah show. I spray with Lysol constantly and we wash our hands alot! I'm trying to do everything I can to keep the germs out of this house!

It's positive!

Well, some of Sarah's tests were positive and some were negative, so their treating her and her 2yr. old daughter as if it is full blown swine flu.

Keep them in your prayers, please!

I'm a wreck!

I'm waiting to hear if our daughter,Sarah, whose 6 months pregnant and been sick for almost a week, has the swine flu. I'm absolutely sick to my stomach. Along with a sore throat and runny nose and cough.
She went to the Dr's. this morning and he sent her to hospital for blood work and a swap to see if she tests positive. She's suppose to find out this afternoon. It's already 5:30pm and no news yet.
